Hall of Mosses Trail, Hoh Rain Forest, Olympic National Park, Washington

Who would have known that we have rain forests in the continental United States?  A trip to the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park, Jefferson, Washington was like walking into another continent entirely.  The forest was so blanketed with mosses and saturated with moisture if you zoom into parts of this large panoramic you can see the water literally dripping off trees.  I guess that’s why they call them rain forests.
